Attention 1st year students:
Are you interested in being a tour guide? We are looking for Ambassadors to give tours on interview day as well as during special events. If you are interested, interviews will be held on Monday, February 15th on the third floor MERB (rooms 342, 343 & 341). 12 students will be selected to serve as tour guides.
Tours/lunch with the applicants are held from noon until 2:00 every Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Four Ambassadors are scheduled for each interview day - so the time commitment is once a week for two hours.
If you are selected to be a tour guide, you will meet with Maria Zimmerman on Monday, February 22nd at noonand follow two tours before you take over for the second year tour guides.
You will follow one tour the week of February 22nd and another tour the week of February 29th. You will take over tours the week of March 14th after you return from spring break. Interviews for the class of 2020 will end in April.

Message from student affairs on Philly Ultrafest
Class of 2019
Philly Ultrafest, Saturday 3/26, Hamilton. Ultrafest is an annual free educational symposium for medical students in the Philadelphia area, where students will have the opportunity to learn and practice clinical sonography. Clinical ultrasound has become prevalent across many medical specialties including medicine, surgery, emergency medicine, family medicine, ob/gyn, dermatology, rheumatology, anesthesiology, urology and more. In many specialties it has become part of residency training, however many people (including us here at Philly Ultrafest) believe it should be taught earlier in the medical school. We believe in the next 10 years it will be more utilized in bedside care than the stethoscope.
Join us on March 26 - register at : phillyultrafest.org.
