Alex TestinoAlex is originally from Northeast Pennsylvania, but has lived in Philadelphia for the last 5 years. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2017 with a degree in Biological Basis of Behavior. He has loved living in Philadelphia for the last few years and tries to cook as often as possible after stopping by the South Philly Italian Market. Alex’s favorite thing about LKSOM is the collaborative environment and all the different interests that his classmates have.

Niely MirsadiNiely is from Long Island, NY. She graduated from Boston University in 2012 with a degree in International Relations and French Language & Literature and later completed her post-bacc at Stony Brook University in 2015, where she then did research at for two years. Niely’s loves the feeling of family and togetherness at LKSOM - it’s something that makes the school feel truly unique!

Miloni ParekhMiloni is from central New Jersey. She graduated from Rutgers New Brunswick in 2017 with a degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience. She just welcomed home a cockapoo puppy named Percy and loves taking him to the park! Miloni’s favorite thing about LKSOM is the supportive community and wonderful family she’s become a part of here.

Rebecca GarberRebecca was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated from Yeshiva University in 2017 with a degree in Biochemistry. Rebecca enjoys cycling, hiking, and fishing and has recently taken up golfing. Her favorite thing about LKSOM is the people because, whether they are part of the administration, faculty, or her class, they foster a supportive environment and create a support system that is crucial for both success and wellbeing.

Hassan JessaniHassan is a Philly native. He spent four years in Atlanta, graduating from Emory University in 2015 with a degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology. He completed the ACMS Post-bacc program at Temple University after working for a year as an ED scribe. Although he is head over heels for the City of Brotherly Love, Hassan likes to travel and experience new cultures. LKSOM’s dedication to serving its community is what drew Hassan to the school and he really values the support of the faculty and camaraderie of the student body.
