Madeleine LoweryMadeleine is from the suburbs of Philadelphia and graduated in 2016 from Emory University with a degree in Biology and Comparative Literature. Before medical school, she adopted a kitten who now loves to study with her. Maddy is continually inspired by her classmates and the LKSOM faculty; she could not imagine a better family with which to be sharing this journey!

Sarah SchulteSarah is from a small town in Central Jersey and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2014 with a degree in Public Health. Before coming to Temple, she worked at a rural high school in the Dominican Republic and then did public health research in Santiago, Chile. Sarah’s favorite part about LKSOM is the incredibly supportive community.

Meghann ZapcicMeghann is from Lancaster and graduated in 2016 from UMass Amherst with a degree in Psychology & Neuroscience. She has owned her horse Murphy for 10 years and is an avid equestrian. Meghann loves that the LKSOM Class of 2020 feels like a family.

Jonathan BoyceJonathan is from South Florida and graduated from the University of Florida in 2014 with a degree in Food Science and received a Masters in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida in 2016. When he is not in the library studying for medical school, he enjoys playing soccer or eating at Philly’s amazing restaurants. Philadelphia and LKSOM both continue to impress him. Jonathan loves the collaborative and supportive environment at LKSOM and LKSOM’s commitment to serving the local community.

Rachel RaghebRachel is from Ohio and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2016 with a dual-degree in Microbiology and Communications. She enjoys eating all things chocolate and never leaves the house without her sweets. Rachel loves the supportive atmosphere at LKSOM and the camaraderie of all the students.

Carlos RomeroCarlos was born in Venezuela, raised in Southwest Florida, and graduated from the University of South Florida in 2015 with degrees in Biomedical Science and Biophysics. During his gap year, he worked as a Regional Consultant for a national non-profit fraternity. Carlos appreciates LKSOM’s commitment to providing opportunities to students and its investment in student success.
