1. HEARTS: Call For Leaders- Deadline January 26th
The HEARTS Leadership Team is looking for applications for students who wish to take over our positions next year! In the past, typically only rising MS4s have been considered, but this year, we are considering rising MS3s as well. If you have an interest in being a HEARTS leader next year, please e-mail your name, class year, and a brief blurb on why you should be one of next year's HEARTS leaders to the following e-mail addresses: firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, and firstname.lastname@example.org. Applications due by January 26th at 11:59pm.
2. Estes Surgical Society: Laparoscopic Training Session with Dr. El-Chaar- 3:10p, Monday 1/29 @ St. Luke's Allentown Campus
Come join the Estes Surgical Society for an afternoon of hands on laparoscopic training with Dr. El-Chaar at St. Luke's Allentown. We will be meeting at Estes at 3:10 to carpool to the site - feel free to arrange your own transportation as needed. We will also plan on walking to pizza afterwards to cap off the day. Please use the sign-up sheet so we can have a head count of who is coming. 3. WIG/ WHIG: TED talk screening- 12:00p- 1:00p, Monday 2/5 @ Estes Lecture Room TBD
WIM and WHIG will be coming together to screen two TED talks on healthcare and patient outcomes. Lunch will be served.
