Attention New Officers!

The SFC will be holding the HSC RETURNING AND NEW Officers Workshops Jan 25th- Jan 28th.  Attendance to ONE of the FOUR scheduled meetings is MANDATORY for ALL ORGS FOUR PRIMARY OFFICERS (President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary) . Even if you are a returning primary officer and have attended this meeting in the past you still must attend!!! Failure to attend and sign-in at the workshop will result in loss of Spring funding. The meeting will review HSC student org policies and procedures. Meetings are about an hour long, please prepare to attend the entire meeting.

Students for a National Health Program: Philadelphia SNaHP Potluck

Come hang out with Temple, Penn, Drexel, and Cooper med students in Students for a National Health Program. All single payer supporters are welcome! Bring friends or partners! We'll get to know each other and talk about what's next for the coalition of Philly SNaHP chapters and single payer advocates. PSIG- Seeing into the Mind of a Criminal: A Day in the Life of a Forensic Psychiatrist
Thursday 1/21/2016, MERB 319, 12:00p.m.-1:00p.m.

This talk with Dr. Pietro Miazzo will discuss the role of a forensic psychiatrist in the legal system and how they handle getting reasonable answers from patients that the public considers to be the most “unreasonable.” Dr. Miazzo will discuss examples from his work in forensic psychiatry and take time to answer questions. Don’t miss this opportunity to bring fascinating moments from the courtroom into your classroom! Lunch will be provided.
