Ultrafest is an annual free educational symposium for medical students in the Philadelphia area, where students will have the opportunity to learn and practice clinical sonography. Clinical ultrasound has become prevalent across many medical specialties including medicine, surgery, emergency medicine, family medicine, ob/gyn, dermatology, rheumatology, anesthesiology, urology and more. In many specialties it has become part of residency training, however many people (including us here at Philly Ultrafest) believe it should be taught earlier in the medical school. We believe in the next 10 years it will be more utilized in bedside care than the stethoscope. Join us on March 26 - register at : phillyultrafest.org. Email us at [email protected] with any questions/concerns.
