Dear friends, Between now and primary election day on April 26th, Pennsylvania is ground zero for the 2016 Presidential election. It’s a critical time to mobilize and make sure that candidates hear from us and commit to end drug company price gouging, and oppose deadly trade agreements that deny life-saving medicine to poor patients worldwide. It’s urgent to seize this opportunity to make sure that drugs invented on the U.S. taxpayer dime become more affordable for patients here in the U.S., and are also freely accessible for the poor and the sick in impoverished countries. AMA Event Title: The Changing Face of Healthcare Reimbursement - Why Every Physician Needs to be Involved and Avenues to Do So Monday 4/11/2016, Room 217, 12:00p.m.-1:00p.m. By the time we graduate medical school, the medical field will have undergone some of its biggest changes and challenges. The evolution of healthcare reimbursement is one such change that is challenging physicians to redefine their practice. Dr. William Van Decker, Temple's Chief of Nuclear Cardiology, will join us on April 18th to explain these shifts in healthcare reimbursement and how we can have a hand in molding this change.
