Mid-Atlantic Student Wilderness Medicine Conference
Saturday and Sunday, April 9th and 10th, 2016
On the campus of Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA

We would like to welcome you to join us!  

Our two-day conference will be of interest to anyone with a passion for the outdoors, and is available to all medicine students (MD, RN, PA/NP, EMT, pre-med etc.) from any school.  This year's conference is offering a combination of over 20 lectures and skills sessions focused on the topics of wilderness, disaster, and emergency medicine!  In addition, we have lectures covering humanitarian response, austere surgery, military medicine, wilderness bioethics, pre-hospital medicine, search and rescue, and many more!

Babcock Surgical Social

The Annual Babcock Surgical Social is an event which provides students with insight into many surgical specialties. This event will aid in developing a career path for those interested in surgery. Surgeons from various departments will be speaking on their specialties as well as the road to success in their fields. This year's panel will include surgeons from the following departments: trauma, urology, orthopedics, cardiac, thoracic, otolaryngology, and neurology. The panel will field questions from the audience following their presentations. Immediately following the presentation portion of the evening, there will be a catered reception.

ENT Interest Group
Event Title: Newly Matched Resident's Panel

What exactly is an ENT? Come learn more about the diverse Ear, Nose, and Throat speciality at the newly matched ENT resident's panel. Fourth year students beginning their residency in ENT will be at MERB to share their experiences in the match process and answer any questions you may have during this interactive session. Lunch will be provided.
