Join Family Medicine Interest Group for our first meeting of the year! Dr. O'Gurek will talk about the many career paths possible for family physicians. Learn about the activities we have planned for the year. A non-pizza lunch will be provided.

Want to learn how to take a blood pressure? Want to get a chance to try out your stethoscope? On Thursday, August 27th from 12-1 PM, come learn how to take a blood pressure. Taking a BP is a very important skill that you will be using throughout your career, and start using right now at the different TEACH microclinics and health fairs. We will go over how to use the sphygmomanometer and stethoscope and everyone will have a chance to practice on each other!

Please bring your stethoscope! Blood pressure cuffs will be available for practice.
